Styling reminiscent of a German beer hall sets the scene for this fun, casual eatery. Authentic music and costumed servers add a Disney-esque appeal, and the food offers a taste of Bavarian fare. If you crave sauerbraten, schnitzel, German sausages and the like, you'll fall in love with Gustav's. They also make a great rotisserie chicken, and the roast rabbit is succulent, flavorful and rich. Less adventurous types will be pleased by burgers and fries. While you're here, make sure to sample their selection of imported beers and microbrews. The place can often get busy, so prepare for a wait and don't be shy if you're seated at a group table. Their adjacent Der Rheinlander restaurant is open daily for dinner and is a bit more upscale, and a second Gustav's is located in Clackamas.
